OUTSIDE
Googie: This is a Googie designed Sambo's. I call this a more milder Googie on the outside.
Original Design: Original constructed design all still intact. However, the extracted roof beams have been removed for a flat fascia appearance.
Rock Entry Area: Original rock wall still existing. No signs of sign mountings present.
Windows: Full original window view still present.
Palm Trees: No palm trees present.
Sign: Original sign post not seen.

INSIDE
Counter: Counter and stools present.
Register Counter: All original
Booths: All booths present and original.
Kitchen: "Pass over shelf" and opening to kitchen present with very little difference. Prep area still present and original.

COMMENTS
This store is amazingly still original. If you know the stores from the past, you will receive a major flash back walking into this Restaurant. Present owner has owned this store for the past 5 years. Owner before owned from the day Sambo's closed shop. Both have taken very good care of this building, inside and out. Looks as new as the day Sambo's would have opened it.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
Folks, this is a great place to bring your business. On the wall it states "Enter as strangers - Leave as friends". This is not just a slogan. It's a reality. Sandy is a great gal and the food and service is great as well. My coffee cup never went dry. Stop in once and you will be back again and again. Don't miss out on a great experiance.
