Present Use: Presently in use as a Restaurant.

Small. This would have been a small size Sambo's (Double window
booths. Counter with Stools. Back Dining Room
Building Condition: (1-10) "10"
OUTSIDE
Googie: This is a Googie designed Sambo's.
Original Design: Original constructed design all still intact.
Rock Entry Area: Original rock style wall still existing. No signs of
sign mountings present.
Windows: Full original window view modified to one window per
booth with spacing.
Palm Trees: No palm trees present.
Sign:
Original sign post present. Not original sign.
INSIDE
Counter: Counter and stools have been removed and replaced with
double width booths.
Register Counter: Looks to be original
Booths: All original window booths present and original.
Kitchen: "Pass over shelf" and opening to kitchen
present but wall closes off area.
COMMENTS
Other than windows made smaller, counter area removed and an
additional dining space added to the back dining area, this
former Sambo's is still close to being the same. This present
restaurant has been operating here from the day that Sambo's
closed her.
ADDITIONAL
COMMENTS
Had a great breakfast, and awesome friendly service. Building is
still sporting one of the more wilder historic Googie designs and
has been maintained extremely well. A visit to this former
Sambo's is recommended.
